There was a wee fairy named Loury
She loved to play beneath the berry
And roamed in her picturesque garden
Of vibrant shades: yellow, red, blue and green.
One day she told her friend, Bumblelee
“Let’s play “hide and seek” behind the tree.
Now shoo! Fly and I will search for you!”
Later, she’d say: “Yoo-hoo! Where’d you go?”
Another time this witty, wee fairy Loury
Was playing with her friend butterfly, Burry
She’d ask him to hide among the red roses
Soon she’d cry: “I have thorns and bruises!”
This wee Loury was a naughty, funny fairy
But she was a caring and friendly, tiny lady.
She loved to play everyday in her little Eden
As she was the fairy guardian from Heaven.

Oh, Summer!
What a delight!
It lilts along
in child-like song,
brings a smile to my face!
Pat, pat on the back
for such a sweet piece,
your humor showing once again!!!
