To look upon me from the outside
the world would say I am plain
or perhaps homely
By my beauty is not something
that can be seen with the naked
eye, for my beauty comes from
deep within my soul
It shines forth for all to see
with every good deed I do
from my showing love to others
selflessly every day,
This is where true beauty lies
not from cleansers and makeup that
is spread and smeared on ones face
But from the love you give to others
the un lovely and unloved people of
the world.
