The Lord is pissed
Romance is no longer Romantic
And making love has nothing to do with Love at all
Women seem to become perplexed
As to why I am constantly Vexed
By their Unique personalities

It's astonishing to me
Why you do not comprehend
How much I care
I Care more than your closest friends.
I Love more than your so-called Lover.
I will not be over-insistent
But I am beguilingly persistent
I do not lust after your body
But I Admire it just the same
I will not tell you I Love you
Just to get under your clothes
But I Promise to show you my Love
And get under that fake Heart
You wear on your sleeve
Show me who you are
I promise to be Intrigued
Please, just Promise
You won't overlook me
