Grandmother At Heart

Missing image
I learned many things from my grandmother,
every summer was filled with learning times.
She could talk to me like no other,
and bring such muse to my mind.

From helping me see nature,
in life and how the new leaf grew.
Its the wonders of the world honey,
placed there just for you.

She taught me how to read people.
often by listening indeed.
And grandma told me don't always trust your eyes,
for your eyes will often deceive.

Give everyone your smile each day and greet them hello,
and even if they dont return the love you will never lose the glow.
For someone who knows love shines for all to see,
ready a smile and a handshake and meeting new friends indeed.

So honey I make a great grandmother who loves to share,
if you are in need at anytime your grandmother will be there.
I listen like no other and give my blessings every day,
so honey how about it can I be your Grandmother today .

Finally I can comment on this!!! You can't imagine how happy I was when you entered this and wanted with your heart to be my AP Grandma, how I needed to call someone Grandma and talk to someone like her. You're a wonderful and very kind person who always puts her heart first and gives unconditionally. I am so fortunate for meeting and knowing you, let alone call you part of my AP family.
I hope you know that I love you so much, I am just too shy to say (here goes out, lol).

Very sweet and grandmother-y. It made me think of my own grandmother ... so far away!
My favorite part is in stanza 4, lines 1-3: "Give everyone your smile each day and greet them hello,
and even if they dont return the love you will never lose the glow.
For someone who knows love shines for all to see"
Good advice, and very true! Not many think like this anymore.

"Grandmother at heart" is wonderful to be
and vitally needed in this world

Also I like these lines in particular:
"Give everyone your smile each day and greet them hello, and even if they dont return the love you will never lose the glow."
