Waiting for Tomorrow

Blinded behind clouds,
land,
my own thoughts
where are you?
I touched you once
but now I have to wait
not sure when
do not want to say "if"
our eyes will hold each other again
many miles apart
we are both in tears
you feel them trickle down your face
mine are dry for now
I can barely breathe
alone for now
one day i will knock on your door
and we will walk side by side
and our fingers will melt together.
