With a slight glimmer of insanity
In her eyes so blue
She picks up the shiny silver razor

You asked her to prove her self
And she knew just the thing
A permanent mark, a secret

You stare in amazement, the girl doesn't flinch
A crimson stream starts to
Trickle, trickle, trickle

Your fascinated with the canvas of flesh
She has offered you
Within moments she looks up
With the smile of a five year old

'Forever and ever I belong to you.'

Author notes

I like this idea...quite a great deal. It seems almost pretty to me in a way. Carving something in your flesh that represents your love for someone else. It seems to hold something more than a tattoo ever would.

For those that would wonder, I'm quite mentally well. I don't have any strange depression issues. I'm just an odd ball.
