You held me captive,
alerting all my senses,
as your whipsers of a summer breeze
rippled like honey
to my very core.
Scented and sweet
we circled around
forever's promises,
as our feet sank deeper
into intimacy,
becoming overpowering.
The ebb and flow
of September's serenity
mesmerised us
in a longing
for familiarity's cloak.
But our waves never met
in epiphany's fulfillment
and the sway gestures us;
it is time to seek
our own surging sea.

Absolutely loved this.
Such a soft and sensual tone
to this while reading. Full
of love and passion, beautiful
imagery and deep metaphors.
Such a meaningful piece
filled with emotion.
