Autumn Butterfly

Dappled, sunlight upon the leaves,
shined lights on the branch,as tears cling,
bowed to the Autumn rain recieved.
A butterfly in red, brown wings

took flight in the amber sun bring
tears of joy and free to flutter
as wings faced the cyrstal drop fling,

the wind laid to rest the utter.

This is an interesting hutain that started out very powerfully and fell off a little at the end. I would have preferred another word to end this poem because I loved the line "tears of joy and free to flutter". Perhaps "the wind blew softly at the shutter." Thank you for your entry. Peace, Liz
