Heightened Illness Concern

Missing image
Look!
There is a tumor on my nose
disguised as a pimple!
I just know I am going to die!
Plus there is something wrong with my zygomaticus major-
Seriously!
Why would I lie?!
And don't begin telling me
“dimples are a dominant trait”
Just the term "zygomaticus" is screaming…
"I’m in a terminal state!"

Even my tonsils are on the verge of
rattling off
surely it’s a sign of cancer
after all,
I do have this cough!

I wager my undiagnosed syphilis
all this is true!
if it wasn’t for an inhaler
my asthma would turn me blue!

Just yesterday while showering
I found a rash on my leg
I swear it is Lyme disease
because it won’t go away!

I still keep telling myself
I should have never used that commode
you never know what’s lurking
or to what ones anus is bestowed!

My mind keeps retorting
“I'm suffering from my head to my feet”
If I don’t die soon
to my bed I will retreat
and if my tomorrow does come
hopefully it won’t be a disaster
after all...
my death cannot arrive
all that much faster.

This is so funny! Your choice word and your sense of humor was much appreciated. It is true that there are people who are unfortunate to live with this condition and there is no humor in thier situation. But the magnification of thier difficulites and thoughts penned here are very humourous.

      lol, mayhaps just a wee
I think I found that picture off a forum discussing hypochondria; an oddly interesting illness.
Recognizing hypochondria as an illness is a bit ironic
