Heaven

Once afraid, I am no more
For after death, I shall be with my lord
Once blind, I now can see
What heaven and Jesus and God will be
Once deaf, I now can hear
The glorious sound of heaven’s great cheer
For Heaven is a place where I shall go,
And everything is wonderful, I just want you to know
The streets will be a lovely pure gold
You’ll make new friends and meet your old
The crystal sea is a beautiful sight
And time is endless with no day or night.
My God will be with me, and that’s best of all
I have listened to the Lord and his mighty call
Now I want you to follow right beside me
And we shall go to Heaven and Jesus we will see

Author notes

this was a little poem I wrote when I was 9 and getting to know Christ better. I grew up and continuing to grow up in a very Christian-like enviroment. Everyone I know and love are Christians and I realize that I am very fortunate. I would like to add you to my Christian family too, so please comment and tell me if this poem written when I was nine encouraged you to either become a Christian or grow as one. Thank you for reading! (:
