We were off the coast of Cuba and Bluebeard was my mate,
it was there where my right front leg met an awful fate.
All the pirates were drunk with rum aboard our tiny ship,
they had me tied up on a leash, but the knot began to slip.
Suddenly, a giant wave came crashin' down upon the deck,
and I was washed overboard away from that smelly wreck.
All alone in the briny green sea I began to bark,
that's when I noticed the fin of a very large Tiger shark.
I swam as fast as I could go, I dog-paddled I surely did,
I tried to make a bee-line straight back to Captain Kidd.
Before they could lift me out that shark bit off me right front leg,
now I have to hobble around on this wooden peg.
But, don't fret for me and think I live with an awful curse,
for I, in turn, bit the hide off that shark and made him into a purse!

Wow that is super funny
I had to read it twice and am still laughing. I love the last to lines very much. "But, don't fret for me and think I live with an awful curse,
for I, in turn, bit the hide off that shark and made him into a purse!"
Good luck in the contest awsome write
