I joined Ap some time ago
My real neice showed me how and so
I joined three groups by clicking 'go'
But still I am an orphan
I have some favourite authors who
Inspire me with the work they do
And yes I've won a cup or two
But still I am an orphan
My guest book has but entries few
My groups don't contact or come through
My teachers love the work I do
But still I am an orphan
I try to sympathise with writers
Who through their trials have proved they're fighters
And of my guestbook make them biters
But still I am an orphan
I'm lonely for a friend or ten
Who'd love to pop in now and then
And maybe I'd never say again
But still I am an orphan
Can I be your little sister, cos I miss my real life big sister as she lives so far away!
Author notes
A bit tongue in cheek here. I must in fairness add that I'm not sure how to contact my group members, or even how the group thingy works! I can be a dimwit some times! However, I'm daft, bubbly and ready to say 'Hi' to all.

I really needed a smile today and this gave it to me, thank you

I can't think who wouldn't want to have someone with such a great sense of humour in their AP Family. Would you have room on your family tree for me?
The rhythm and wording of this reminded me of Gilbert and Sullivan. Particularly the lines:
"I have some favourite authors who
Inspire me with the work they do
And yes I've won a cup or two
But still I am an orphan"
I hope you don't think me odd for being young AND knowing Gilbert and Sullivan lol
Thanks again for bringing a smile to my face. Good luck with your AP family tree.

AP family is a great thing. I have many members and some don't contact me a lot, but I read as much as I can and I always write back. Good luck in the contest! The Shaker (you can be in my family if you want)

Hi Piccola
That's wonderful! Thank you!
By the way, are you called piccola because you play the flute? Just wondering!

-
I was given the name by a friend due to my small stature
I am 4'11 and he was 6'8 ... In italian it has the meaning of small or tiny. If you say piccoletta it is even more so.
