Slayer THOR ..Protector of TAX Dollars

What you’ve heard is true!

Presented unto you;

The “new girl”on Capitol Hill.

Senator Charles Schumer

Living words…September 23, 2008.

Birthing image and poetic truth.

Silvers bullets for Wall Streets greed

packing accountable responsibility.

….. THOR….

Illuminates Clarity and Power.

Slayer of Golden Parachutes

Wimpering Chief Financial Officers.

The Voice of American Outrage!

“T” for tax-payers,

YOUR proposed NEW Share-holders,

And dare..you…confess…Landlords too!

“H” Housing

Stunned are wealthy barrons to behold!

The un-forgiving memories of noble tax-payers;

painful evictions and inflated market costs.

“O” Oversight….

The dreaded and hellish word of accountability!

Sweating the brow and glands of wimpering on all of Wall Street.

Cleverly stalking the U.S. Treasury's actions and deeds.

“R” Regulation….

The ultimate test of fact, theory, or obvious corruption.

Federal Prisons abound, comfortable rooms, peace and quiet too.

No backdoors, or golden parachutes offering millions

in executive severance payments.

Slayer THOR

the imagery and voice

of realities....me and you.

The tax-payer rites;

Seven Hundred Billion Dollars

Investment bail out..hard earned labor

of our present tax futures.

we're actually pleading with the powers at be..for accountability
and not blank check!

May apathy not stalk your porch or paycheck!

WRote this poem viewing the Senate Hearings, and apppreciated &respected
the accountability presented by : Charles Schumer on behalf of
all American citizens. Thus...THOR.

Ok really all i have to say is WOW.
This is so true. After reading this i was speechless.
You wrote this WHILE you were viewing the Senate Hearings? Nice job here.
I think this is one of my favorite parts:
    “O” Oversight….

The dreaded and hellish word of accountability!

Sweating the brow and glands of wimpering on all of Wall Street.

Cleverly stalking the U.S. Treasury's actions and deeds.

(I did say I think this is one of my favorite parts because in all reality i liked all of it.)
    This is great.

Whoohoo!! I loved it. ROFL. Incredible job on a prompt I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Well, maybe. But I would not have been able to come up with something this awesome.
Best of luck in the contest, sissy!!
    Write on.

    Profound and Powerful!!!

Well, first of all, the image is an attention grabber. You are quite right, the federal budget is out of sight, and another great depression lurks right around the very next corner. IT'S 10:00 - DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR SOUP KITCHEN IS?!!? Thank you for sharing your views, and I wish you all the best of luck in this contest!!!

Now, now, you know I refuse to comment on political views. I will say you always form something quite unique. Good luck in the contest.

    Interesting write here

Isnt it a hoot we send our kids to school to be scholars and most are the very best only the ones in congress and the senate would rather take than invest. Its makes one feel the money would be better used by the guidance of the working class where bills comes first and never take from another as long as you can work I think the ones in congress has just bought the key to the prison and this prison wont have jet flights out for the weekened

A nice poem, no doubt. I really like the grudge against greed. And the picture is great too.

    Well done and good luck!
