This is Love

You are my midnight wolf, who with open arms shall hold me
dancing soft kisses across the trails unmarked for so long
as hand dances across the curves of a trembling body
I shall be your north star guiding across this twisted world
as we move through the misty glades of the forest
with only but the light our love creates
for those around us may say that we are not meant
but when these sky and earth eyes look up unto the brightest
there is nothing but sweet romance and tender kisses
as sweet as a cool spring morning
rolling amongst the grass of a park, watching for trespassers
lost in the realm that this love has created
as we laugh at the silly happenings of being caught by the unknown
enjoying the soft nuzzling of cheek to cheek
the soft fingers dancing within my ever changing strands
loving me no matter what outer appearance may be
for it is this inside, this buried within my heart
that sparks the feelings of eternal passion, of everlasting love
all the scars lining the shoulders, stomach and heart
disappear with a simple loving embrace and a gentle kiss upon each
this love has grown and shall continue to as we nurture the hidden
