held by his peace Above
saved from hurricane Ike,
flooded by God's precious Love
ain't gonna need this house no longer
ain't gonna need this house no more
this ole house is afraid of thunder
this ole house is afraid of storms
gales can't reach Helen's treasures
vaulted in a sacred Home
prayers rain down without measure
protected by angelic Dome
ain't gonna need this house no longer
ain't gonna need this house no more
this ole house is afraid of thunder
this ole house is afraid of storms
Author notes
When Marion's message reached me, I was listening to THIS OLE HOUSE! Is God's time-table not wondrous?
All my prayers and love to you and your family, Helen. I counseled a lady today and when she arrived for her session, a turtle dove flew in with her ... To me it was a token of God's Peace ... May His Turtle Dove fly ahead of you in all storms, Love! HUGS to you.
Thank you, Marion, for letting me know of Helen's loss. XX

What does one say to an other who has just lost everything (s)he worked for? There are no words. Just sincere feelings of sympathy, wrapped in a poem perhaps. Such as this one. Your immensely strong talent to love radiates from these words, angel. A comfort perhaps to Helen in dire times. When stripped of all earthly possession we are left with the only things we truly own - the love in our heart. Thank you for creating and sharing. Thank you for being you. Ack,
Chris

You are a beautifully special person. Your love of people and your spirituality must have you walking just a few inches off the ground.
Thank you for this lovely poem. You make better all the things you touch.

for the opportunity reach out to Helen in her hour of loss. We are all linked to each other in moments of trauma -- one big family.

so full of pain and sorrow, yet so full of love this is
in your timing of passion of these last days.
your picture of the Sun coming in the shadow of your face
gives us all a ray of hope during these days of hurricane alley and all the rains here near.
You write with such imagery of hope and sad in the same sentence. Only you Myra, can do this.
good to be here again, finally

Tamara

WOW...
I just love that old song for it has often been sung by others and has such an emotional message for all of us. Material wealth is nothing compared to the riches of blessings received from GOD. thank you so much for this blessing today!
