What is a real man?
Your question is true,
the answer is simple...
it's in the deeds that you do.
The look in your eyes,
when you take her hand.
Speaking words of true love,
letting her know where she stands.
Being there when she's down,
wiping the tears from her face.
Giving comfort and hugs,
putting a smile in its place.
Give her the respect she deserves,
encouraging her goals in life.
A real man who can do this...
one day will have a good wife!

I think women bringing up sons should all have to read this poem, it sums up all the values I have tried to instil in my boys, I think I'll stick a copy on my sons walls very nicely done, simple straight talking and great rhyming thanks for sharing littlefishone

Hopefully every woman in the world finds one like this and keeps them. To often they don't realize what they have before its gone. You have definitely described what a good man should be.

I guess this was just some of what I believe makes a "good man" in my eyes! How true you speak...when you find a good man you need to hold on to them and treat them as a rare treasure cause you don't find them alot!
