There is a flower with a suitcase
sitting on the open road;
it stepped out of the rat race
and gave up that tired load.
The sunshine feels much better there,
the blacktop's always hot;
though no one seems to really care,
perhaps they all forgot.
Tidy, every piece is set
where freedom rules the roost;
the flower and the bees have met;
the suitcase gets a boost.

This made me smile for some reason, I'm not sure why, perhaps it is because it was a happier interpretation of the prompt than I expected. Best to you in the contest
