for you to do.
It's scarey
it's painful
it's something
you are definitely
not looking forward to.
I know what you are going through.
For in May my mom did this too.
What you have to lookforward to
is pain...
lots of tests...
lots of poking and prodding.
Lots of med's.
However, after all the pain
is done...
you've seen all the doctors
you can...
you've followed all the rules
they give you.
Then and only then
you may come to think
that it was worth it.
Because you are still here
in this world
and it's worth it
to me
to keep you here.
Author notes
On May 29th my mom had open heart surgery. After several complications she is now doing great. Back to living alone again. Doing things she never thought she would ever do again. By next summer she'll be out mowing the yard. You watch. I just bet she is.I wish you luck. I hope you don't have any complications. And please, do what the doctors tell you. Even tho, you won't want to.

Thank you so much for entering my contest to honor Al. He has been working on the walking and listening to the Dr's as to what to do to get better quicker.

My
Honestly this is somewhat personal to me. I have been going through that poking and prodding. Pills and blood test. Hospital crap. But alas the heart shall go bye-bye anyway. But I do like your understanding. Hope it is not firsthand.
