Alluring beauty beckons me
To captivate my heart of stone
Break down the walls
That separate us
From each other
From the decades between us
That hold us in time
Ever spindling down
To enchant us nonetheless
But hold us together
Mindless chatter fills my head
Of incessant nights alone
Without the touch of
The skin of beauty
That befalls my lustful heart
Heart of stone turned to glass
Shattered by love's first light
Holding dear to you and me
But knowing nothing more
Than evolution of life

I like the route you took with this. The language wasn't particularly flowery, but the ideas drew the reader in. Thanks for entering.
