I am an American Hold Over
I am not a warrior but a member of many teams
I serve myself and try to not use army values
I will never place the mission first
I will always accept defeat
I will never quit, trying to go AWOL
I will always leave a sleeping comrade
I am not disappline, physically or mentally tough
Not trained or proficent, I barely know my tasks and drils
I will never maintain my arms, my equipent, just myself
I am an ameture never professional
I am ready to sit, change channels and watch tv in the day room provided by the United States with taxes
I am a guardian of the remote control
I am an American Hold Over

    I really like this spoof on the "creed" It was very well thought out and I think it better describes many things in out country. Thank you for sharing..

    I couldn't stop giggling thro out this write.. I was like this isn't like the real soldiers creed.... You did a really great job of it. I don't agree with heroesrox... that you have enough talent for all of AP.. but i would have to agree that you do have an amazing talent.. and I will have to go find more of your great works!! Thank you for penning this write and i wish you all the safty in the world...
