Is it such a sin that I crave your kiss?
I know this is not what you specialize in
But otherwise, I fear
I might die of heartbreak
You would never want such a thing, would you?
I'm laid here, operable
Bound at the wrists
I promise I wont cry when you tear into my heart
I'm too in love with the fact
That you're here with me

Wonderful
Very well done. Best of luck in the contest.

dark and emotional. the second guess of the reader with "would you" is well done and the scene is depicted as almost a self sacrificing ritual of rape or total despair. to be bound at the wrists and being torn into is such a powerful image. the end lines really wrap it up nicely and give explanation to why someone would stay put through the second guessing and the pain. also found the idea of "operable" interesting as though to be changed for what they wish

a very deep take on the promt good luck in the contest
