You set a spell of winter
On trees that bloomed of spring
Before I took in the fear
Every tear froze over
A man made of a heart of ice
And body made from gold
You stood there, with your merciless eyes
Black diamonds in a sea of snow

This is a strong write that is very deep. It seems to read about a man who puts his negativity into everything, ruins all that is good and beautiful by being negative. It also shows how the man has become trapped as though a statue ruled by his own cold heart, which has locked him into a miserable existence which he feels he has to share. Awesome write.

the imagery was fantastic! this was a great take on the prompt. the first two lines were brillantly said.
however punctuation wouldve helped the flow
