Our wishes reflect who we are,
be yourself, wish upon a star.
Keep wishing though all the pain,
chase rainbows, after the rain.
Look deep inside to who you are,
happiness won't come, from afar.
Forget impossibilities,
avoid all love's hostilities.
Don't give your heart to anyone,
makes you cry, darkens the sun.
Lock your heart, toss the key,
so it won't open easily.
Upon a star, we made a wish,
I was naive and so foolish.
For love was just a word to you,
for me feelings are still true.
There is one wish I have today,
that this heartache go away.
I learn to hide my feelings well,
behind my smiles no one can tell.
I really wish you all could see,
how deep it hurts inside of me.
But wishing is not reality,
so I smile and act carefree.

I think, it'd be much nicer if wishes were reality.
'I learn to hide my feelings well,

I love that last stanza, it's so heartfelt, and I know how it feels, unfortunately.

Beautifully written but sad. Sandy, let it go because you are to beautiful a person to let someone hurt you so much that you keep that hurt around. Open your eyes and start looking, slowly open your heart again to your true love, he is out there somewhere. In fact he may be closer than you realize. Katie

We try and tell people we cry and get hurt by what others say and do
They act as if they don't believe and do it just to see. Some of us need heavier overcoats that will protect us from trial and errors of others. Blinders might help allso. If we were together the blimd could lead the blind and we might not get hurt. I see to well to be real blind. Besides if I were there I would want to see you and you to see me then we would laugh....mac hahahahaha maybe you have tears of laughter now???
