Multi-layered persona

no one cares to see

Outward appearance

within their visibility

Capturing dreams

cascading from rainbows

Locked deep inside

where nobody knows

Lovely in lavender

flowers and lace

Sadness reflected

on delicate face

If not for imagination

would I even be?

So many layers to us all yet if people stay and look long enough to peel back the layers they find the real person. Beautiful words hun with such a depth of wisdom.I have to admit the second last stanza just so beautiful..well crafted hun. If not for imagination would any poet put pen to paper...Good luck in the contest. Thank you for the pleasure of your talented pen.
