Lovely In Lavender

Multi-layered persona

no one cares to see

Outward appearance

within their visibility

Capturing dreams

cascading from rainbows

Locked deep inside

where nobody knows

Lovely in lavender

flowers and lace

Sadness reflected

on delicate face

Multi-layered persona

no one cares to see

If not for imagination

would I even be?

This is wonderful, I do like the way it comes almost full circle. And I love the question you ended it with, one of those that really gets the mind ticking over. A great take on the picture, good luck

So softly done, though the content it sad, it's very delicate. I've felt like this before.

    Lovely write!

    Beautiful...

wow...your message comes in beautiful words....
Humans are the weirdest specie on this planet...
Mostly it's the outside that counts....sad enough...

But not all...I know some that aren't like that...and you are one of them

So many layers to us all yet if people stay and look long enough to peel back the layers they find the real person. Beautiful words hun with such a depth of wisdom.I have to admit the second last stanza just so beautiful..well crafted hun. If not for imagination would any poet put pen to paper...Good luck in the contest. Thank you for the pleasure of your talented pen.

    BEAUTIFUL!!

I see so often many do not even want to get to know someone, they just see what is on the outside and go no further.
