chimp poetry... or comments I've seen

I still like this one. True, it took me a little explaining to get it but it was very Yemish.

    Hi, btw.

Ha, I like this a lot. Good thing people added their comments to clear it up for me, as I missed it the first time I read it through. Congrats on the well deserved gold trophy for this witty piece. Nice write.

Congratulations on winning the gold in Yem's contest...once it was explained to my feeble brain it made perfect sense and was a great haiku riddle...is there such a thing as a haiku riddle?

I might suggest a title change. By close you mean near or almost, but when people read it they might think "close" as in, Close the door. Maybe, "Almost?" something like that would work.

okay fishbubbles, usually I am pretty good at 'getting' stuff but not this...what is the secret meaning..are we only using 6 percent of our ability.........etc...

Chimps and man share something like 94 percent of the same dna. I believe Fishbubbles is suggesting in this senryu that the difference between monkeys and us as writers is that six percent. She's poking fun at all of us writers, including herself.

Now that I read it correctly I realize how good this is, and it reminds me, the topic I mean, of a poem I once wrote about a monkey in a zoo...difference is, I suggested that monkeys were superior in the art. I'd send you a link but I might get arrested for polluting the internet.

I say no more, let others read and figure it out.

    Thanks, this was quite good!
