At Angels Feet ( you weep)

Perfectly you lie. Cold as ice in a world of peace and bliss unknown to the living.
You are finally at rest. No one can hurt you know as you play among the angels.
As you play the bells from below the heaven begin to ring for your funereal has begun.

There sit you’re  parents and grandparents weeping in there seats at the casket holding your now lifeless body. If only you had known how much they all loved you.
Friends line the rows of  pews behind them.

So many familiar faces. How where you to know so many cared.
That the I love you’s were meant.  The I care’s where real.
And the I’ll always be there’s were said with care.

Back to the Heavens you fly for you can not stand to look at the sorrow and tears in there eyes.
For heaven is a happy place with no tears and pain.

Days in the world past as you play among the clouds keeping watch on those you once loved.
To the  grave yard  you fly where you are meet by the sound of weeping.

To where you see her. There she sits alone with tears filling here eyes and her lungs gasping for breath as she sits and hold the cold black grave stone "For the world was never ready for such a beauty ” It reads. As you recognize the girl at the grave holding a single purple rose you recognize your name on the stone. For the weeping girl was once your best friend.

You stand behind her wishing you could speak to her. To tell her there is no need to weep. For your happy that your among the Angels.

Her weeping begins to cease.  She stands to leave and places the purple rose at her feet. She looks up at the heavens and begins to speak hoping you’ll hear her.

“ I always said I’d be there for you. I always prayed you never leave me. I needed you.
You where more then you ever knew. You were my best friend. My sister. My savior.
You listened when no one could hear me. You helped when I thought it was over.
You added heat to the cold lifeless world. You were my guardian angel on feet. The one thing that made this life more bearable.”

She falls to the ground to cry. For she does not no that it is at your angels feet that she weeps.

The sight is to much to bare. Back to heaven you fly. If an angel could feel you think.. You would feel heartbreak and pain. For you never knew how much you ment to one person. For you were her world. The thing that kept her strong.

The days continue and you return to your grave to see her weep.
The days continue into weeks and still she weeps.

For one day you return not to see her in sight. There is no sound of crying in your ears.
For you hear bells at the church. You fly to watch over what is happening. There she lies. The girl who needed you lying a plain black stone casket. Her eyes shut and hands folder neatly at her chest.

The church quiet and solemnly as the prayers are said. No one cries for the girl for they never cared,
“she’s where she wants to be now” the mother says.

As you turn your wings hit something. But how can that be? For your wings were never touching anything. As you look you see her. The girl you left behind. “ I told you my dear. No one ever cared about me as they did for you. Life has never been the same since you left me. It turned cold. Voices were dull. There was no laughter or music in my life with out you in it. You were my strength. You were always the reason I was so strong. With out you I became weak. I didn’t have the heart to go on. I wanted to be with you.”

You fall to the grown. At her angel feet you begin to weep. Never before has such a scene appeared. The sun disappears and the  clouds roll in for your tears have cause it to rain.

“Why do you cry?”  You are asked
“Beucase I never knew I was so loved by you.
I never knew I was ment so much to so many.
That my mother loved me. That my parents really did care for me.
I’ve lost it all”

The friend now falls to her feet once again to hug you as tears fall from her eyes. “ Why do you cry” you ask her. “ Because I ment nothing to anyone. My parents did not weep my friends did not care”

You stand once more and take her hand “ I care. And always did. When I died I  was your guardian angel. “ Be my guardian angel on feet again” she whispers. “ You weep silently and kiss her head. As you hug her the rain stops and the clouds part.

Into heavens gates you walk her. For now your happiness is internal. For there is no more weeping at angel feet.

Author notes

One of my friends inspired this poem a few days by having a conversation about sucide. Its my thoughts if I were to loose her I guess.

Does it seem over complacted?
