It's eating away at my insides,
Ripping apart my soul and shredding my flesh.
My endurance is tested, strained, and broken,
What's left of me is a hallow man.
I feel too much and it pains my heart,
My small beating piece is shattered and torn.
It was joyous once and filled with love,
But now all is gone, and all is empty.
To love again would be such a waste,
What's left of my heart has given up.
It denies me the simple pleasures in life,
Begging to keep together what it has left.
I guess there is no partnership for me,
I had it once but it's gone forever.
I'll live out my days as a broken man,
All alone in this God-forsaken world.

What was your quote you used for the prompt?
"He/She was a weapon of mass seduction - annihilator of hearts"
"He/She promised the world only to give an atlas instead"
"He/She was a person of means, by No Means"
"He/She had a masters degree in Human Slychology"
And now for the last quote which i doubt anyone would pick but i'll put i anyway -
" I'm just a BLOODY COWARD who's too afraid to love and be loved again"
*Put the quote you choose in author notes*
I can see that it fits for I think the first one but I don't want to assume this.
The end was so sad... thinking of a broken man.
well done.
