The last star has left the sky
Leaving the land to twilight's grace,
Darkness goes hushing by..
To leave not the night time's trace..
There's just the moon, who waits to see
The dawn adorn her throne..
While the world is still in a slumber spree
The clouds all lazy, tired and blown..
It's no more night and still not bright
Traces of darkness sticking still..
It's that lucid hour, which runs out of sight
As silence sings a music shrill..
Sometime.. past the night, before the sun shine strides
When golden swans are said to fly
And mermaids rush to hide..
There's magic in the sky..
A precious moment ~ when dreams take their flight
And angels pause by window panes..
It's no more night and still not bright
The Queen of dreams, holds her reign..
