Staring at her scar
I blew back her bangs and heard
Angels from the South.

    Southern but Virginian.

Not Tupelo but Amherst, Virginia is where Patsy was born but she was a powerful singer and mine got in here by accident should have been elsewhere. Thanks for the contest though and Patsy Cline was a sultry voice that was stilled too soon in a plane crash. Have to like that.

Oh, I think I interpreted this in maybe the wrong way. Umm, but I still liked it. I thought it was very cool that you could make such a good haiku when talking about such an amazingly talented person. You did a very good job.

    Good luck in the contest.

Too bad there isn't more. But there really doesn't need anymore because it is sticky and lingers. I drove over from Jimmy's house to see how they matched up.

Yes Yes Yes.... I've found it.... been thinking on this for awhile... I am a southern lady... though the lady part is a little off skew..... she is an angel with her voice.....and if I had one night left it would be with her.... her and her voice....just singing.
