A maiden in a misty pool wore fireflies in her hair.
As I was passing through to drink, she caught me unaware.
Alarmed I was at first to see her honey eyes bore into me!
My heart, it must have skipped a beat, to see her standing there.
That maiden in the misty pool with fireflies in her hair...
she took my breath so fast away it gave me quite a scare.
Alarmed I was to see her smile! She left me warm and quite beguiled.
The moment she so softly smiled, I lost my heart right then and there.
The thought was mad, I didn't care.
I gave my heart right then and there.
