I watch the hollow of your throat vibrate
like a taut gut-stringed instrument
-a hair’s breadth from snapping
in a vociferous crescendo
as I stare into the whites of your eyes
transcending from pink to a vibrant red;
rubbed nude of their once long lashes…
I callously maim you…
Puncturing your awareness with a succulent grin
the open flame of cleft tongues
savor the sweat beading on your brow…
I seductively mock you…
Vile visages liquefy into an oil and water rainbow
arched inside a silent cavity of cinderblock guilt...
I visually dissect you…
A deep breath orchestrates a shrill whistle
as the remaining shrapnel of sleep melts away;
delivering the dawning of realization...
[The termination of life judges all men equally]
I gradually devour you…
