Long before the daylight dawn
And Eos sings her gentle song
They lay awake
Far away
Wishing for each-other
As Mid-night slowly changes into day
They just let life slip away
They go about they're awful day
passing away the chance to say
Please come back i want you to stay
But all we know is it can't be
Because this is not a story book
And life rarely has
A happy ending

Aw, how sad, but very true. The rhyming was odd, but nice. Didn't seemed pressured. Lovely.

I love this, I don't know what, but there is something about this poem that makes me feel like I know your friend or something, I don't know, it just does.
It has a few typos, but I didn't mind much (surprisingly), unless of course, you meant them.
But very beautiful. And I absolutely LOVE the background.

Loved how simple your poem is.
Its shows wisdom and clearly states an unfortunate fact that -as you mention- life rarely has any happy endings!
Great flow and loved the twist you created, I opened your poem to read a “happy ending” to find that you meant totally something different- very creative!

Hi I think this is a beautiful poem sadness mixed with happiness, like when you mix up all your ice cream flavours, and can't tell which is which. Your right about it seeming as if ther aern't many happy endings, I think you just have to look for them ,but something tells me that your creative mind will help you along the way. Seriously good write, have a good day or night or whatever, littlefishone
