It was a zephyr breeze that moved her
from across the room to my side.
Not strong enough to falter her step,
lessen her perfume, or disarrange her hair.
Her smile, her soft moist-lips,
presaged the music of her voice
as it lilted her "Hello",
and the revelation of her name.
It was as though there had been
an invisible telephone connection
between us by which I had whispered:
"Come and talk to me".
