We walked under the
eucalyptus trees every
Sunday at three. The
sunshine today reminded
me that no longer will my
smile light up your eyes.
You are gone beyond my reach.
One day we will walk and hold
hands again in the sunshine
beneath the eucalyptus trees.
But not on this side of heaven.
