Funny, I’ve often asked
How could anyone not?
Don’t you see
What you mean to me?
You’re everything I’ve got.
I miss you babe
It’s hard to know
That I can’t be with you
And nothing feels so natural
As me and you
Just us two.
I see you as you really are
Though we may be star-
Crossed, you’re beautiful to me.
And sometimes it really hurts
That this simple fact
You don’t see.
I love you and it isn’t fair
That you’ve been taught to believe
That the love I want to give to you
You don’t deserve to receive.
