The world feels quiet
my boys are all asleep
No one's souls weeping with need
my girls all partnered and happy
Reaching out to feel the world
quiet and calm rules this night
Stillness fills me replacing the need
even the nearby animals are still
Feeling the spiders walking thier webs
strange sensations fill my heart
It is to quiet and calm
peace and complacency
I need to feel a need
foreign and odd
Out into the night I go
I flee these strange sensations
