fast

what autumn never knew
was that sunshine falling through the trees
clothed the earth in beauty too.

there's talk of retreat, surrender
and then of defeat
but only winter sings of sweet victory

and it's those stars above who know the truth
and laugh at us with our seasons and our turning hearts
why not learn from them
and burn forever with bright love for the universe
and burn forever with the will to light the darkness with our love?

winter knows the chilling victory of death
as spring sings of the joy that comes with life.
summer knows the freedom that comes with the sun's hottest rays
as autumn knows the beauty in the graceful soul ending.

take these, my friend, and crush them together
shape your heart from this clay, and paint it with the light of stars
let your heart forget all sorrow and grief
but bask forever in eternal joy!
let your heart accept the turning of the planets
and the turning of our fates
finding happiness in every hole we fall into!

I have learned from the autumn
and I have learned to embrace the winter
with my young heart of spring.

Change is so beautiful, my friends, by the white starlight,
Never forget that change is beautiful!

    This is beautiful

Such wonderful words from one so young. The concept of viewing Autumn, (or even our worst nightmare), from the point of view of the stars is a very powerful metaphore. I do like, - finding happiness in every hole we fall into, but to select one part of this poem and hold it above the rest would be a travesty.
Good luck and prosperity to you

very interesting to see how you fill the seasons with love and happiness ,accepting them into our everchanging life ,loading them with the myriad pleasures and pain....
