Horizon's hues,
trip o’er stones
brushing a vibrant sheath
of flickering warmth upon a reflecting
soul’s surrender
clouds overwhelm,
casting silhouettes of dreams;
once pressed upon a penny of hope
amidst the edges of murkiness
that seemingly linger
into darker depths, she wanders,
wavering
whilst crimson skies beckon
her heart to heaviness;
the wind whistles memories
of sweet whispers
teardrops trickle,
unnoticed
drowning sorrows of regret
into currents of tomorrow
with each echoing heartbeat
adrift upon silent sighs
she remains
alone~

Sweetie, to know you just a little is to know the truth in this beautiful expression of sadness. Each word weighs heavily because each one is chosen for the moment or the act it stands for. I can only hope that your strength and resolve will stay you till happpiness comes to overwhelm. I'm sure it will. I know it will. Such treasure cannot remain hidden.
