Along Came a Sister

Along came this young miss beckoning for a
person to aid her in troubles she was having.
So I answered the crying plea, longing to assist
her and make her wrong, right, her downs, ups.
This exquisite, vulnerable young lady with so
much to offer, I took under my wing, with care.
All she needed, asked for, was a shoulder to
lean on and an ear to let her problems out too.
Shortly after she let her worries and dilemmas
out to me, things started to make more sense.
The sweetheart I was supporting, so many of our issues were familiar, to be exactly the same.
It was as if it was ment to be, that she was placed before me as a test of my patience.
But yet it twas with gentle, relaxed talks we
realized that it was fate, we were twins in a way.
I continued to encourage, give advice as to what
should she execute as her next course of action.
Speaking with her via cell phones, we became
closer than I have allowed myself to any female.
Then decidedly, we laughed and became sisters,
just too much alike, in every way possible to be.
As I speak with her now, it is as if she is not the
same individual, happy, outgoing, a 180's done.
Pride and so proud I am to have been part of her
recovery and in her life, she is such a wonder.
Beautiful and lovely, she's so full of life now,
I am proud to be able call her my sister, even if
not by blood or by law, fate brought her to me, and I will not forget that ever.
