The moon, Love ...
Her eyes sparkle.
What about the moon?
Ah, Love ... do you not see? The moon shows us
the sun is still there, even when it is gone. The moon
revolves around the earth, as the earth revolves
around the sun. The dark of night holds the possibility
of a new day ... The moon in its arch calculates
the hours to the morning; the design of intention
planned to project to the soul an open secret. The moon
is a study of God's strategy. It is the Promise
of the Dawn; the affirmation that the Sun is shining
forever, even should it hide behind the horizon.
She gazes up to the moon, eyes wide and arms stretched
above her head.
And ... of course Kepler's Law is nothing else but a way
to understand God's law ...
Of course! She ignores the tease.
Ah, Beautiful ... He grunts. I love it
when the moon forces me ... he grabs her arm
and turns her towards him ... to kiss you to silence ...
Read in my eyes the reflection of the sun
of my undying adoration ... he whispers,
his lips against hers.
Stars wink ... and the moon turns a blind eye.

This is a priceless moment - in all of our spiritual and intellectual deliberations, we are still physical. I like the discourse on the moon, "the design of intention planned to project to the soul an open secret." I enjoyed the poem, and I'm pleased to see you received a gold trophy. Congratulations!

You capture the heart of wonder so perfectly.

your not too talkative, you are a great writer and a good writer has much to say. God made them that way.
I read many poems about the moon, but never one written in truth like this one

You are so funny! I was enjoying the discussion of the moon, as some of these thoughts have occurred to me, and then someone got bored with talking.
I love to see the moon in the sunlit sky - it took me decades to understand its phases.
