Fall
the leaves are scattered
throughout the grounds of
the heart,
like dreams left
to be Forgotten.
Fall
the leaves that persist
not to wither
are abandoned by the decay
and death of the hours;
that surrender to the
will of the seasons.
But the sunlight shines through
the branches where once
the leaves veiled
and hid;
and thus it blossoms life as
the leaves are scattered
and abandoned to wither and
Fall.
