This is a short form to stretch the poet’s imagination for describing a moment of existence.
This descriptive verse brings to mind the memory of the sudden, startling whirring of a hummingbird by my ear and then hovering before my eyes as I walked a quiet stream deep in the San Gabriel Mountains one warm summer afternoon.
