    in times of appearent peace, people are less likely to change anything. if everything around them is accomodating, then the mind only has to satisfy bordom. the bored people make excellent customers, and companies profit huge by making people think they need more than they really do.

    meanwhile, people are starving. children have no health care. and in our own country, the lower class is becoming the homeless class. while the rich are sitting in their pools. but with tv in front of your face, who's going to care, who's going to change it?
