Even though you are gone,
you couldn't be closer to me now.
I see you everywhere I go,
you are as much apart of me as the Sun.
You are the voice that comforts me,
when I feel deserted by this world.
I see you in my dreams,
you tell me that I must continue on.
You are more real than my beating heart,
you are my map of this crazy land.
I know you are out there waiting,
and that's why each day I will smile.
