I love you

i know you think i hate you
i know you think i dont care
but i swear to god i have a heart
but sometimes i dont even know its there
dad, i know you think im always mad
but i swear it isn't true
sometimes my day gets too hard
and i take it out on you
i love you with all my heart
and that will never change
my life would be hell without you here
and that will remain the same
i know i am cold at times
and i say things i dont mean
but father your my sheild from danger
i just wish you could see
your my whole world
i would die to see your smile
i just wish i could say
"I love you" every once in awhile
tears made them selves present
as i wrote this note
i know its kinda hard to believe
but i hope you finally know
that even though i say things
i dont mean to say
i love you with every bone in my body
and i make it known today.
