She tells him wisdom,
she tells him the facts,
she tells him the truth,
but he doesn't listen.
She watches him waste away,
fall apart summumb to the addiction,
become intoxicated.
She tries to reach him,
help him see sense,
but he shields his eyes.
She holds his hand,
when no one else will,
but he is slowly pulling away,
his world is revolving around,
that one thing that drowns out his pain.
She stays there for him,
when everyone,
including him tells her to turn away.
She's hasn't lost her innocence,
she is only twelve years old,
but still she knows more then,
those twenty years or so older.
She tries to make her voice heard,
her good understood.
But the world will listen to the innocent,
when it's far too late.

?I know how it is to be someone who tells someone something for their own good and yet they don't listen and you slowly see them ruin themselves.

I think I get this one princess and its heart breaking. Just dont lose that innocence for you will discover one day that innocence is a source of power in an evil world. I love you sweetie, Daddy

This is sad sweety but true they really do not listen to people life is full of it people that focus so much on themselves they fail to see what is true and many suffer without the need to

Very nice
They don't listen to the old iether! It's hard to get through to some because they think they are the only ones that really know what is going on, but in reality we all go through similar things in life. This is sad in a way, but eon't give up as that would be the sadest thing! I Love You! The Shaker
