Emotions: I am

I am the first tear shed,
At a lonely funeral.

I am the envy that burns inside,
When desire is met by another.

I am the smile that beams,
While the heart softly sings.

I am the echoing scream,
That comes in sheer terror.

I am the clenched fists,
Holding back an uncanny rage.

I am the increased heartbeat,
That comes with a first kiss.

I am the sweat that drips,
Every time I leave the house.

I am the utter amazement,
That often comes after surprise.

I am the emotions that rule you,
And bind you to other people.

Ooo, the title is different, i like it. It's deep but not in a weird, or angry or romantic way. It's deep in such a way where you've dived into a new idea, a new way of describing emotions, a new way of making people relate to your poem. If that makes any sense at all =)

I really really liked this one, and it brought me back to all the times I'd felt the emotions depicted!

    Especially the increased heartbeat =P
