It's too late,
But I'll pray for you now
I'm not going to be there Tuesday
To honor you
Because I'm not invited,
Because I barely knew you.
But from what I've heard,
What I've seen,
What I know,
What I've been told
About you
And what I know about the people
Who love you, and they always will
I sorta like you already
I'd like some criticism to help me get back into writing

This is a great poem. Reminds me of a famous poem we researched in my literature class. It seams rather said but it's said in a more upbeat manner. I love the last line, it really ties up loose ends and gives a sense of warmth and closure.
Great write,
Cassie

I liked this poem a lot. You tell the story without telling the story...if that makes sense. And the ending line was my favorite, it really wrapped things up.
