The honeyed leaves are sweetness for the eyes
A merest scent of magic in the air
We listen to the breeze's loving sighs
And feel the silken mist that's everywhere
The gentle thud of apples as they fall
The taste they bring that's far beyond belief
A cooling breeze that feels like winter's call
The crisp brown skeleton of every leaf
Such signs of Autumns are all around
You taste the fruits the harvest gathers in
You sigh to see the trees as they are browned
Until their russet cover's wearing thin
The Autumn season gives each sense a thrill
So take the time to give each one its fill

This appeals to my senses, gentle rhyme filled with all the essence of autumn as I feel the need to bite a crisp apple, covered with caramel, I can just taste it now. This is a good one Jeff!

Gorblimey, there speaks someone who never had to rake dead leaves off a lawn, or pick up half-rotten apples!

Good poem, but watch out for the thud of falling lines, like StroonsGreen says.
