I am a happy fat cat eating is what I do
today I stole some fish from the aquarium at the zoo
Juicy steak from The Ruth's Chris steakhouse is always nice
I must admit it tastes much better than lizards and mice
Tender viddles, Purina cat chow, and meow mix are all okay
but I think I will eat pesky Pittbull's dog food today
you can pamper me with wet fancy feast cat food all week
but only the best fancy meat will make my fur soft and sleek
yes I am a happy fat cat that loves to eat
and as you can see my favorites are fish and meat

a good poem penned with a fine pen, as fat as a cat with no woolly hat who ate the mat that he was sat on, he's looks like two but he's only one, son of a gun, he's fat.

Excellent poem and one that i enjoy to the end. You said it just like it is. Stealing from the aquarium....naughty kitty! This does sound like the perfect description of a cats eating habits. They are so varied in their diet. Mine use to eat vegetables with their meat. They loved peas and mash spud. I loved this write to bits. Thank you.

In the first line there should be a comma between cat and eating, otherwise a beautiful poem from a cats perspective. -
Such a cute and humble little poem my freind. I can imagine on of my past cats actually saying this. I had one the enjoyed italian food. and another popcorn the other cardboard so I can imagine yours wanting to eat his from the aquarium and the dog food. Thanks for the laugh.

lol most cats really do love their food dont think! i think i've only ever met one cat who wasn't all that interested in food - and only ate it when i was eating mine ... but she was more human than feline, LOL.

Wonderful and whimsical! I smiled throughout the read. I am a dog fan. Cats are way too cool, and too much like people with attitudes for me. A cat would not work well in my house, they'd have to leave their attitude at the door. LOL
